WEC Crews continue to work on restoring outages. Just over 700 members remain out now. It will likely be several hours before the replacement of broken pole in the Moretown/Middlesex area is complete and power can be restored to that part of the territory.

Crews have restored those out in Corinth and continue to work on other outages. A broken pole in the Middlesex/Moretown area may slow restoration there, but crews are on the scene and working.

Crews continue to work to restore power in several areas of WEC territory. Crews have been assigned and are working on the largest outages, including one in the Middlesex/Moretown area and in the Chelsea/Corinth/Vershire area. It appears the worst of the storm has passed and we are hopeful that we will not get many more outages coming in.

Tuesday – 6:30 p.m.
The storm has continued to move north impacting the Moretown substation. This brings the outages to 1009. WEC crews will be assigned to this area as soon as possible. These storm cells are moving quickly with high winds so please stay indoors and safe. Power restoration will occur as soon as possible.

Due to a strong storm cell, WEC currently has 493 outages in the southeast area of our territory. Crews have been dispatched to the area to begin restoration. The weather is forecasting more of these storm cells to pass through WEC territory throughout the evening hours so please be prepared for possible power outages.
