    All members on whose property our ROW crews will be working will be notified by phone and/or email beforehand. To ensure you receive notices of ROW cutting, please keep your phone number and email address up-to-date by calling 802-223-5245.

    Remember: Always be prepared for unexpected outages.

    Please note that all ROW work is done by mechanical means. No herbicide chemicals are used.

    WHERE: Woodbury & Cabot

    WHEN: Beginning Tuesday, May 23, 2023

    NOTICE: Washington Electric Cooperative, Inc., or its designee, will be trimming in the right-of-way to increase reliability in your service area. Some members on the following roads may be affected:

    ROADS - Woodbury:

    • Bliss
    • East Hill
    • Keene Farm
    • Sawmill
    • Shadow Lane

    ROADS - Cabot:

    • Jug Brook

    If you have any questions or concerns about the trees on your property that are adjacent to the power lines, please contact Eddie Wallace at 802-224-2335.

    WHERE: Northfield

    WHEN: Beginning Monday, May 22, 2023

    NOTICE: Washington Electric Cooperative, Inc., or its designee, will be trimming in the right-of-way. The mulcher will be used. Some members on the following roads may be affected:

    • Stoney Brook

    NOTICE: Washington Electric Cooperative, Inc., or its designee, will be removing danger trees and some members on the following roads may be affected:

    NOTICE: Right-of-Way crews will be removing danger trees in your area. Some members on the following road(s) will be affected.

    PLEASE NOTE:

    The forestry mulcher will be in use throughout WEC territory this summer and fall. We are working hard to improve system reliability and right-of-way access for outage response.

    Please stay away from the mulcher if you should see it in operation.  Our operators are happy to speak with you once their work is complete.
