Our ROW crews will be working throughout our service territory of 41 towns now and into the fall. We make every effort to inform members of ROW cutting ahead of time, but we cannot guarantee prior notification due to our crews' rapidly changing schedules.

All members on whose property our ROW crews will be working will be notified by phone and/or email beforehand. To ensure you receive notices of ROW cutting, please keep your phone number and email address up-to-date by calling 802-223-5245.

Remember: Always be prepared for unexpected outages.

Please note that all ROW work is done by mechanical means. No herbicide chemicals are used.

WHERE: Calais & Worcester

WHEN: Beginning Monday, November 8

NOTICE: Right-of-Way crews will be removing danger trees in your area. This is not an outage and there are no planned outages associated with this project. Some members on the following roads will be affected.

ROADS:

  • Collar Hill, County, Dragonfly, Kent Hill, Robinson Hill, West County, Worcester Rd in Calais
  • Calais Rd in Worcester

WHERE: Corinth & Topsham

WHEN: Beginning Monday, August 23

ROADS:

  • Thurston Hollow, Turkey Hill, and VT RTE 25 in Corinth
  • Batten, Beckwith Street, Bruleigh, Captains Walk, Crossroad, Gendron, Gustine, Main Street, Maplewood, North Pleasant, Park Street, Perini, Pleasant Street, Powder Spring, Ridge Street, Spooner, VT RTE 25, Waits River Valley, Watson Hill, Willey Hill, and Zion in Topsham

WHERE: Barre & Plainfield

WHEN: Beginning Monday, August 23

  • Mitchell and Plainfield in Barre
  • Fassett, Lower, and VT RTE 14S in Plainfield

PLEASE NOTE:

The forestry mulcher will be in use throughout WEC territory this summer and fall. We are working hard to improve system reliability and right-of-way access for outage response.

Please stay away from the mulcher if you should see it in operation.  Our operators are happy to speak with you once their work is complete.
