WEC crews have been diligently working to restore power to our members since 1:30 am this morning. Operations staff continue to survey the lines ahead of the line crews to locate the causes of outages and to determine what needs to get done for repairs. We’ve requested and received mutual aid from other utilities to supplement our crews.
At the moment, we have approximately 600 members without power and over 50 separate outage events throughout our territory.
We remain cautiously optimistic, but this will likely run into late tomorrow and possibly Thursday. We’ll see how things go over night as we will have crews out overnight.
