Outages Across WEC Towns

WECOutages

April 19 2022 8:30 am

Heavy, wet snow has caused many power outages across Vermont, including in Washington Electric Cooperative’s territory. About 1,800 WEC members are without power as of this morning, with nearly 19,000 around the state. Crews are out climbing poles and cutting trees in several towns in WEC towns, including in the Middlesex area where one of the larger outages is. There are also outages in Moretown, Fayston and Duxbury, as well as in the Calais, Marshfield and Tunbridge areas. Call volume is also very high, so thank you for your patience as we work to restore power.

Remember, if you see lines down, do not touch or approach them. They could still be energized. Please report any downed wires or trees by calling us immediately at 1-802-223-5245 or 1-800-932-5245.
