There are two significant outages affecting about 150 WEC members right now. One, in the County Road area, is impacting members in Calais and East Montpelier. Crews are working on restoring power and we expect that outage will be resolved by 10 pm. The other outage, in the Berlin Pond area, is impossible to reach right now due to road conditions. Members affected by that outage will be out of power until access can be restored, and power will likely be out until tomorrow. Those members are primarily on Brookfield Road, Mirror Lake and the Paine Turnpike. We will work to restore power as soon as possible, and thank you for your patience.

WEC crews have currently restored power to all members in our territory. However, we expect additional outages as flood waters or trees bring down poles and wires. We are still having difficulty reaching some areas of the territory due to flooding and road damage so thank you for your patience. WEC line crews will remain on call and continue to respond to outages.

Power has been restored to members in Calais, County Road area. 14 members remain without power at this time in Calais, Middlesex, and Walden. Crews are assessing and working to restore power.
PLEASE NOTE: WEC crews are finding many secondary roads impassable and washed out due to the rain, especially in the Middlesex, Worcester, and Calais areas. So far, we are able to restore power to those outages currently reported, but restoration efforts may be slowed or not possible in areas that may be unreachable until conditions improve.

WEC is experiencing widely scattered outages due to the heavy rain and damage from thunderstorms. Current outages are in Calais, Middlesex, Walden, and Tunbridge. Roughly 72 members are without power.
Crews are onsite and assessing the causes of these outages, and will begin restoring power as soon and as safely as possible. No estimated restoration time at present.
