WEC crews found a damaged switch at our switching station for our transmission line that feeds our Jackson Corners substation from GMP’s transmission line. WEC crews and GMP crews are in the process of bypassing the damaged equipment so that we can restore power to our substation and get everyone’s power back on. We anticipate power being restored in the next 30 – 45 minutes. Thank you for your patience.
Remember: Do not approach downed lines or trees on lines, as they may still be energized.

Due to an event on Green Mountain Power’s transmission line to WEC’s Jackson Corners substation, roughly 2,192 WEC members are without power. Crews are on the way to assess the situation. More information will be posted as it is available.
