After a long night of restoring outages, WEC crews had to work hard to find the cause of a major outage in the Corinth/Tunbridge area and have repaired it. About 27 members remain out of service in WEC territory, including the need to replace a broken pole in Marshfield which will take some hours, but we anticipate full restoration this afternoon. However, we anticipate additional winds and possibly outages over the weekend.
Remember: if you see lines down, do not touch or approach them. They could still be energized. Please report any downed wires or trees by calling WEC immediately at 1-802-223-5245 or 1-800-932-5245.
Friday – 10:00 a.m.
There are currently 791 members without power, mostly in the south end of the WEC territory, Vershire, Corinth and Chelsea. There are some in the Cabot, Marshfield, Plainfield areas crews are assigned to as well. As with most outages, crews must investigate the cause and then repair. The restoration time is often not able to be determined. Crews will continue restoration until all members are restored. Thank you for your patience and outage preparation.

As noted earlier, crews will continue to work until all power is restored. Please note high winds are expected through Saturday so please prepare for possible power outages.

WEC Crews have worked through the early morning to restore outages caused by the wind and rain. We were at 1008 members out, but with a pole just being replaced power was restored to over half of the members out. This brings us to 424 members currently without power. Crews will continue working throughout the day to restore these members.
