WEC crews have restored power to all but about 115 members by switching how some line sections are fed to avoid the issue. They continue to work to replace the broken pole caused by the truck accident. We anticipate full restoration by 1 pm.

WEC crews continue to work on the broken pole and down lines caused by a truck near Towne Hill Road in East Montpelier. Given the nature of the damage it will likely take until at least noon for full restoration. About 316 members are out at this time.

A truck snagged a WEC line near Town Hill Road in East Montpelier, breaking a pole and necessitating an emergency outage. Given that a pole is broken it may take several hours to be able to safely restore power to those affected. About 360 members are out of service.
