Even as crews restore power to some affected WEC members new outages occur. Windy conditions are causing outages around Vermont as trees touch or fall on wires. Currently, just over 200 WEC members are out of power, primarily in the Corinth and Chelsea areas. Statewide, about 1,600 are out of power.
Crews continue to restore outages.

WEC crews are working steadily to restore today’s outages caused by the high winds. With the winds expected to subside over the next few hours WEC’s outages are expected to be restored today. Thank you for your patience and please be sure to call your outage in so we can be sure your outage is logged in the system.
