WEC crews have reduced the number of outages to about 170 members. Crews continue to work on the remaining outages and we anticipate additional outages coming in as winds continue in parts of our territory.

WEC crews continue to restore power to parts of our territory only to have new outages occur as we continue to experience wind and storm damage.
We are back up to just under 700 WEC members out of power currently and crews continue to work on restoration. Statewide more than 15,000 Vermonters are out of power currently.

Several outages have been restored but we are still experiencing outages due to the wind. Currently we still have over 600 outages. The outages remain mostly in the Plainfield, Marshfield, and Orange areas. The crews are locating the issues and repairing as quickly and safely as possible. Please note that the temperature is expected to drop overnight so things will freeze up and become very icy. Please take precautions in the slippery conditions.

WEC is currently experiencing 462 outages with the majority of them being in the Plainfield/Marshfield and Orange areas. GMP had an operation on their line impacting our Moretown substation so that area should be restored shortly. We appreciate your patience during this rainy wind event. Crews are assigned and will continue moving through the area to restore all members’ power.
