Our ROW crews work throughout our service territory of 41 towns throughout the year. We make every effort to inform members of ROW cutting ahead of time, but we cannot guarantee prior notification due to our crews' rapidly changing schedules.

All members on whose property our ROW crews will be working will be notified by phone and/or email beforehand. To ensure you receive notices of ROW cutting, please keep your phone number and email address up-to-date by calling 802-223-5245.
Remember: Always be prepared for unexpected outages.
Please note that all ROW work is done by mechanical means. No herbicide chemicals are used.

NOTICE: Washington Electric Cooperative, Inc.’s designee, Alamon, will be inspecting poles in your area. This is to maintain reliable electric service and to test the integrity of the poles. Alamon will use a resistor graph to test the insides of the poles. This determines if a pole is still in good condition by measuring voids or decay.
Some members in the following towns may see WEC or Alamon personnel inspecting poles in their area.

PLEASE NOTE:
The forestry mulcher will be in use throughout WEC territory this summer and fall. We are working hard to improve system reliability and right-of-way access for outage response.

Please stay away from the mulcher if you should see it in operation. Our operators are happy to speak with you once their work is complete.
